Surviving the Tide
Surviving the Tide is a customized grief support group for all loss including grief from the loss of loved ones, suicide, pets, infertility, miscarriage, infant deaths, relationships, traumatic loss, loss of physical mobility, dementia, financial security, job, identity, bankruptcy, foreclosure, natural disasters, loss of health, and any other loss than we encounter through life. Using education and the most current grief theories, participants are able to explore their feelings and behaviors, work on exercises to help them move beyond their current grief and to find a new normal. Presentations include group discussions, music, videos, and education. Riding the Wave Riding the Wave is a customized grief support group that explores how our relationships influence grief. The group explores communication styles, love, relationship dynamics including anxiety, depression, obsessive compulsive disorders, addictions, sexual trauma, adult children of alcoholics, narcissism, codependency, gaslighting, and wrestles with forgiveness, regret, resentment, shame, guilt, and anger with the design to move participants to a new and refreshing focus on life. |
